Bob Millar

Bob has spent over 35 years in business, mostly in Fortune 500 companies. His early career was in marketing, advertising & sales with packaged goods companies Procter & Gamble, PepsiCo and Nabisco, where he was involved in numerous successful new product launches, advertising campaigns and business makeovers. He then left the corporate world to become an entrepreneur, successfully starting up an importing and retailing business. The last 14 years of his full time business career were spent as President of two different organizations, ConAgra Grocery Products Canada, and CKF Inc., a private Canadian owned packaging company.

Upon retirement, Bob has pursued other interests, including joining York Angels. To date he has served two volunteer assignments in Eastern Europe and Asia for the Canadian Executive Service Organization (CESO). Currently, he provides consulting services to the Grocery Foundation.

He is the Chair of the Board of Directors of ABC Life Literacy Canada, and is member of the board of advisors for AIESEC at York University. He has previously served on the boards of Food & Consumer Products of Canada (FCPC), Corporations Sharing Responsibility (CSR) and the Food & Packaging Institute in Washington, D.C. Previous community service organizations include YMCA Geneva Park, Scouts Canada & the United Way.

He holds an Honours Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Manitoba and earned the Chartered Director designation from McMaster University in 2008.
